SILVERTHORNE, CO - The Motet will come to the Town of Silverthorne for a free concert at the town's September First Friday. The show will be kicked off by a local band, Satellite 13.

This event will take place on Friday, September 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. in Rainbow Park, 590 Rainbow Drive. Guests can enjoy the show with food from La Perla, Colorado Marketplace and Bakery, Graze and Torrey's, and Hot Diggity Dog stand. Grab a few drinks from the bar, and no outside alcohol is allowed at the show.

Summit County Public Health will also be present at the event to provide free COVID-19 vaccines for unvaccinated residents.

The Motet is a band that combines the genre of funk, soul, jazz, and rock since 1998. They have performed as a headliner at Red Rocks Amphitheatre six times. They have also performed at various festivals, such as Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, Summer Camp, Bottlerock, Electric Forest, and High Sierra.

The band is currently on a tour, with several ticketed concerts across the U.S. Future concerts in the surrounding area include Fruita (on September 9), Fort Collins (on October 29), and Boulder (on October 30). The concert in Silverthorne is the only one that is free.
