Low-income tenant in Alabama who needs money to pay the rent? Check eligibility for Multifamily Housing Rental Program

Are you in need of assistance?

It won’t be wrong to say that people living in different parts of Alabama are proud of their state. This is not because their standard of living is extremely high throughout the state or because they are living a perfect life. It is only because Alabama is a relatively peaceful place. Your experience can be different but this is what I have personally observed while living in Alabama with my family.

Other than this, what I have found is that Alabama has plenty of jobs. If you are skilled and ready to take on challenges, you will surely find some sort of employment. The state’s population has grown tremendously since 2010 and according to a source, here the average cost of housing is $562 to $1,186 per month. (Source)

Of course, you can choose to pay more than that if you are buying a home in a well-versed area and it is a spacious one. The Bureau of Economic Analysis reveals that the average cost of living in Alabama is $35,859 per year, and this amount is only for a single person.

With that being said, I’d like to talk about a program suitable for Alabama tenants who need financial assistance to pay their rent. Let’s check out the details.

Multifamily Housing Rental Program for low-income Alabama residents

As already said, this program will give money to the owner of a USDA-financed Rural Rental Housing project on your behalf. You can apply only if you are a low-income tenant and don’t have enough money to pay the rent in full.

Rental assistance is available for apartments in an existing property or a new one. Do you need complete details? I suggest you contact MFHFODSouth@usda.gov or check this website for information.
