Insights on cooking for more than the average recipe calls for
I get asked many times about cooking for more than the average family of 6. I usually cook for up to 12 family members each time I cook. That could be 4 or 5 times during the week, and on holidays that number can jump to 20. Cooking for more than the average recipe calls for doesn't mean you should double, triple, or even more the ingredients. Of course, you need to have enough of the main course for everyone to eat, but it's the spices that many home cooks/chefs get wrong. I have always gone with my grandmother's use of these three senses, smell, taste, and sight. With those three, you should be okay. Watch this video to gain a little more insight.
