Do you complain when your favorite restaurant and its staff let you down?

I wrote a post about a week ago about this very topic on News Break titled 'When your favorite restaurant fails you.' In that post, I mentioned how you have the right to complain about your food and service especially if you are dining at your favorite restaurant. Then I thought about times when I was working in the industry and how chefs, servers, sous chefs, and owners responded to complaints. Tony Bourdain, and old friends that started in the restaurant business at my uncle's restaurant with me write a great book about the underbelly of the restaurant industry titled 'Kitchen Confidential'. It's worth a read. In my video today I talk about some of the things that were done in the past but could be going on still depending on the restaurant and its workers. Being politically correct when complaining is an art and should be practiced.
