A review of Pizmo Cafe at Pismo Beach & Giovanni's at Morro Bay

We spent Saturday and Sunday this past weekend in Pismo and Morro Bay. We traveled for a family birthday, and while there, we had the best pizza we've tried since I moved here. Patti couldn't stop bragging about the dough, and neither could anyone else. As for me, coming from back east, this was the best pizza I've had since 2006 when I moved to Fresno. There is nothing close to dough that Pizmo Cafe makes in Fresno or the surrounding area. It rivals the New York and Boston pizza I love. The dough was tender, not chewy. It had tremendous flavor, and the popping didn't overpower the dough, nor did it make the dough floppy as some toppings tend to do. https://bit.ly/mjcNB69 Giovanni's in Morro Bay did not disappoint either. The fish was tender and flavorful. The only complaint from one family member was there wasn't enough fish in the fish tacos. All in all, it was a great foodie weekend. Buon Apetito!
