Making chicken breasts for dinner tonight? Here's a simple marinade to make for them

Chicken breast most times come out dry. I learned a recipe for a marinade from my grandmother years ago that I still use today for plump juicy chicken breasts. It's a simple recipe using Avocado or Olive oil, Italian spices, basil, salt, and pepper. It's more about how long you let it marinade that makes the difference. The long it marinates, the better the breasts come out. As you know, chicken breasts have no flavor without spicing them up. So take your chicken breasts up a notch next time and use this simple marinade for a base. Then add whatever else makes you happy! I like to add lemon or lime rind as a finish to the breasts. Sometimes a little crushed red pepper or even a jalapeno or two chopped and tossed on the top of the breasts. It's totally up to you to take your breasts to new heights.
