In this video (Part 1), I cover some of the spices and herbs many of you have asked about. These are my go-to spices and herbs for all of my recipes. The amounts I use depends on the flavor I'm looking for. Learning to know the right amount is key to making a dish that has your flavor in mind. I adjust the amounts depending on who is dining with us and their taste also, but I never change the original idea of the flavor, just either tone it up or down as necessary. The idea is to keep the original taste as authentic as possible. BE on the lookout later this week for Part 2.
