Watch as I make breadcrumbs or croutons, your choice from Fresno sourdough bread and local spices
This is a simple recipe that I have used for years. My grandmother always made homemade breadcrumbs from her leftover bread on Saturdays. We had breadcrumbs galore throughout the year. I started doing the same a few years ago after getting aggravated over the quality of the breadcrumbs on the market. I decided it was time to go back to the old ways and it's been great ever since. They're the easiest thing to make and you can get either breadcrumbs or croutons out of this recipe, your choice. SPices the up the way you want and away you go. Plus you'll save money and they taste better than store-bought, even Progresso's.
