Scottsdale, Arizona was recently ranked as one of the top cities in the U.S. in terms of its population's education. Forbes issued its report on Oct. 13, "What are the 100 Most Educated Cities in the U.S.? Top 100 Cities Ranked."

The top city in the U.S. is Arlington, VA. That is followed by

  • Atlanta
  • Washington, D.C.
  • Austin, TX
  • Madison, WI
  • Raleigh, NC
  • San Francisco
  • Scottsdale, AZ

For example, Scottsdale has the lowest high school dropout rate for people 18 years and older - only 3% - compared to all the top 8 cities.

Moreover, 60.44% of all residents 25 years old and older have completed a college degree. That is better than 4 other cities in the top 8 including Raleigh, Atlanta, Austin, and Madison.

This shows that 23.87% of Scottsdale's 25+ year-old population have a graduate degree. That is even better than Raleigh and Austin.
