HOUSTON, TX — Houston Health Department is announcing the locations and schedules where free first doses of COVID-19 vaccinations are available during the week of June 28 until July 4, 2021. The week's program includes twenty six free immunization locations run by the health department.

If you are sick, have had close contact with someone who has confirmed COVID-19, or have participated in activities that place you at high risk for COVID-19, such as attending big social or mass meetings, or being in crowded indoor settings, the CDC recommends that you be tested.

Those who are completely vaccinated yet have symptoms also are suggested to be examined by a healthcare practitioner and tested for COVID-19 if necessary.

Walk-ins and appointments are both welcome at the locations. Vaccination does not necessitate the presentation of identification, evidence of residency, citizenship or insurance.
