Baba’s Bucha Owner and Founder Olga Sorzano first collaborated with Chill Moody, the Philadelphia hip-hop artist, and entrepreneur, in 2020 when Chill approached the beloved kombucha brand in hopes of creating a healthy, non-alcoholic beverage that packs a punch. On the heels of two previous popular releases comes Blacker The Berries, the newest rendition from the pair. This kombucha highlights the beautiful floral and tannings of Chill Moody’s favorite oolong tea, blended with blackberries and bergamot. This newest release has a zing and aromatic, citrusy brightness that will bring sunshine to the winter months and can be found at Lancaster Farm Fresh Co-op.
Just in time for the holiday season, Baba’s Bucha offers a limited-edition social sipper: Meet Party Crasher. Made with organic fresh cranberries, limes, and oranges, this brew is delightfully tart and refreshing with a clean citrus finish, a perfect mixer for any mocktail or cocktail. Available only during December, Party Crasher is meant to be shared with friends and family during the holiday season, either on its own or stirred into an Ultimate Party Crasher, one of Sorzano’s signature cocktail recipes, made by mixing Party Crasher kombucha with a splash of vodka, garnished with sugared cranberries and an orange slice. See below for the full cocktail recipe. Party Crasher is distributed through Lancaster Farm Fresh Co-op and can also be purchased at Baba’s Bucha’s tasting room in Phoenixville. Baba’s Bucha’s winter seasonal release, available from December through February, is dubbed Firebird. Firebird, made with organic strawberries, cinnamon, chili peppers, and hibiscus, is a beautifully balanced fruit-forward brew with a surprising layer of heat, perfect for clearing sinuses during cold and flu season. Firebird is available for purchase at all locations that carry Baba’s Bucha, including Whole Foods Market, Riverwards, MOM’S Organic Market, DiBruno’s, and Weaver’s Way Co-op.
