The museum is excited to provide a platform for a new lineup featuring some of the city’s most prominent and diverse culinary talent.
During the first weekend of each month, one regionally based guest chef will create a custom menu and take over the “Local & Global” station in the museum’s Café space.
The Chef-in-Residence program is aligned each month with the popular pay-what-you-wish admission offering on the first Sunday of every month and every Friday night from 5:00–8:45 pm.
The guest chef series will be returning for February, March, and April and features the following chefs:
- February 4th, 5th, and 6th – Chef Gerald Drummond
- March 4th, 5th, and 6th – Chef Kiki Aranita
- April 1st, 2nd, and 3rd – Chef Judy Ni (Baology)
Chef Gerald Drummond's menu, available from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, will feature Caribbean-style dishes such as Guyanese Beef Pepperpot (slow-roasted brisket, wiri-wiri peppers, orange, ginger, cassareep), Grilled Caribbean Jerk Chicken (slow-braised collards, rice & beans), and Caribbean Mauby Drink (mauby bark, orange, cloves, cinnamon, brown sugar, sparkling water).
