The restaurant reopening brings with it a menu refresh courtesy of Valley Forge Casino Resort’s newly appointed Executive Chef Ted Iwachiw, who was recently hired to oversee all food & beverage on the property.
Chef Iwachiw has a long history of leading various types of food and beverage-related services. Additional previous positions held include Chef/Proprietor of Ted's on Main in Medford, NJ, Executive Sous Chef at the famed Atlantis Resort Paradise Island in the Bahamas, Executive Chef/Food and Beverage Director of Germantown Cricket Club, Executive Chef of Wolfgang Puck Catering, and Regional Executive Chef at Davio's Steakhouse in King of Prussia. Most recently, Iwachiw led the opening of Live! Casino and Hotel in Philadelphia, where he oversaw daily operations of three restaurants, the food court, banquets, and room service.
Valley Tavern offers a sit-down, casual dining experience to round out Valley Forge Casino’s food and beverage concepts.
Menu highlights at Valley Tavern include classic American and Philadelphia-inspired hearty staples such as Cheesesteak Eggrolls, Tavern Nachos, Philly Cheesesteak, BBQ Pulled Pork, several Angus Beef Burgers, Braised Short Ribs, Steak Frites, Fish & Chips, Chicken Parmesan and more.
Healthy options include a Cobb Salad, the Beyond Burger, and a Turkey BLT Wrap.
A wide selection of craft and draft beers, including acclaimed local brews, are also available.
Operating hours are Thursday 4:00 to 9:00 pm, Friday 4:00 pm to 1:00 am (kitchen closes at 11:00 pm), Saturday 12:00 pm to 1:00 am (kitchen closes at 11:00 pm), and Sunday 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
