Chef Nab Maitra of Haddonfield's Pizza Crime will debut a new brunch which will feature his artisan, Neopolitian-style brunch pizzas along with the classic tunes of Frank Sinatra on Sunday, June 20.
Located at 139 Kings Hwy East, Pizza Crime opened in 2020 to much fanfare. Chef Maitra learned his sauce and dough chops as a line cook at Philly’s Pizzeria Vetri and Osteria, working under acclaimed Chef Marc Vetri. Prior to opening the brick and mortar, it had been a mobile operation doing collaboration dinners with local chefs and restaurants and popping up at local farmer's markets.
The pizza that "tastes so good, it should be illegal" often sells out and has garnered many positive reviews and accolades in the year since it opened.
"Haddonfield has been so good to us and people have asked about brunch, so we made it happen," Maitra said.
Every Sunday morning between 10AM – 2PM, the pizzaiolo will offer a selection of wood-fired brunch pizzas will come topped with pork roll, fried scrapple, house-made mozz, and sizzling eggs. A few appetizers and dessert pizzas will also be on the menu.
The Sinatra Sundays brunch will be by reservation only. With Kings Road Brewing Company right next door, guests will be able to pick up beer to enjoy with their pizza or take pizza to go to enjoy at the brewery.
