This time of the year we see twinkling Christmas lights and beautiful decorations almost everywhere. We also hear the sound of Christmas music playing just about everywhere we go. Here is a place where you can see lights and hear beautiful Christmas music at the same time.

The Illuminate Light Show in Doswell is Virginia's longest drive-thru synchronized Christmas lights and music show.

Drive-thru synchronized Christmas lights display in Doswell

The longest drive-thru synchronized Christmas light display with music is available through December 31, 2023. The show is open nightly at 5:30 p.m.

The annual holiday event takes place at Meadow Event Park, 13111 Dawn Blvd., Doswell, VA 23047. The space has been transformed into a landscape of dazzling holiday lights that takes about 20-45 minutes to drive through. The 2-mile track has been called "a holiday wonderland."

What it's like driving through the display

One of the most impressive aspects is that the display is synchronized to music which allows people to see the lights and hear Christmas music at the same time as they drive through tunnels.

The event also features Santa's Village which has vendors, food, hot chocolate, and rides for children.
