The Shack is a storefront in the middle of downtown Staunton, Virginia. It is an extremely small restaurant with 7 tables and 26 non-matching chairs. Therefore, only 26 guests can be served at the same time for lunch and dinner. If you are one of the 26 guests, you will be offered a delicious meal with top-notch ingredients and inventive cooking.

About the Shack

The Shack is just a block away from the heart of downtown Staunton. It is located at 105 Coalter Street, Staunton, VA 24401.

Chef Boden is in charge of the kitchen. He is known for making beautiful plates from the finest that Virginia's Appalachia has to offer. He combines his Jewish Eastern European heritage with modern cooking techniques. He has received two James Beard Award nominations.

Meals are served in five courses on many small plates. The menu is ever-changing. That means no two dining experiences at the Shack are exactly alike.
