Friday, June 2, 2023 is National Doughnut Day. The notable day is recognized on the first Friday in June every year. Richmond, Virginia wants its residents to know there will be plenty of doughnuts to go around. In fact, some of the well-known doughnut shops will give away free doughnuts.

Krispy Kreme customers will be treated on National Doughnut Day to any doughnut for free. No additional purchase is necessary for that delicious treat. Customers who think one doughnut is not enough can purchase any dozen doughnuts with the option to buy a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for only $2 extra. Krispy Kreme is located in several places in Richmond.

2. Dunkin' Donuts

Dunkin’ Donuts customers will be offered a free classic doughnut of their choice including anything from classic glazed to Boston crème with any beverage purchased. The purchase can be made in-store or by ordering ahead with the mobile app.

Country Style Donuts has two locations in Richmond. Customers will receive one free doughnut with any purchase.

Duck Donuts is based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, but the chain is located in and around Richmond, Virginia. On National Doughnut Day, customers will receive a free cinnamon sugar doughnut.
