Wendy Williams went out drinking after her rehab, according to Page Six. The former talk show host was out celebrating her "new lease on life."
It is ironic that Wendy, who recently spent two months in a Malibu rehab for severe alcoholism, was out drinking and barhopping this past week.

Wendy first dined at Fresco by Scotto, known for modern Tuscan cuisine and regional Italian cooking with a modern flare. The 58-year-old former talk show host was overheard saying that she wanted to get drunk. The source claimed Wendy was "completely by herself" with the exception of her driver and bodyguard when she arrived at the restaurant.
While there, it was said:
"She was staring off into the distance until someone she knew happened to walk in."
After dinner, she was spotted drinking at The Townhouse, a New York City elegant gay bar with great music, live entertainment, and plenty of drinks. She took lots of photos with gay men.
When the bartender asked her what she wanted to drink, Wendy was overheard saying:
"Something to get me drunk."
What was Wendy celebrating?
According to Williams’ publicist, Shawn Zanotti, the former daytime talk show host was out celebrating new things in her life, including several upcoming projects. In a statement, the rep told the U.S. Sun:
"Wendy was celebrating her upcoming new opportunities, she wanted to celebrate as she has things happening, making her feel like she has a new lease on life."
The publicist also said:
“She is happy and wanted to celebrate as she has a new lease on life. Williams loves stopping by Midtown gay bar The Townhouse because she loves her fans and fully supports the LGBTQ community, which is a big part of her fan base.”
