Good Morning America‘s co-hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are rumored to be more than just co-hosts. The Daily Mail and Page Six published photos of the two looking and acting more like a couple than co-workers even though both of them have spouses.
Before breaking the story, The Daily Mail reported:
“Everyone knows that Amy and T.J. have been close friends for a long time now, running together and even socializing as a foursome with each other’s spouses.”
Robach and Holmes, who each got married to their spouses in 2010, are long-time friends. Their friendship has been reported to have gone to the next level. Before they both deleted their social media accounts, they often gushed about each other. The Daily Mail is alleging that they are in a romantic relationship.
The Daily Mail reported that the GMA staff began buzzing about the intimacy between them when they were in London together filming the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee for ABC back in February 2022.
Page Six also claims the co-hosts left their respective spouses in August following the alleged affair, which reportedly began back in March 2022, around the time they were training together for the New York City half marathon.
Recently, the Daily Mail published a series of steamy photos of the co-workers over the past few weeks. The photos showed them cozying up in a New York City bar, visiting each other’s apartments, and escaping to a cottage in the city of Shawangunk Mountains, New York just two weeks before Thanksgiving.
What 'GMA' is saying
The Daily Mail alleges that Kim Godwin, President of ABC News, knew of the relationship but is now stating otherwise. Page Six has reported that Holmes and Robach went to “extreme lengths” to hide their affair which has now been exposed.
Robach joined Good Morning America as a correspondent in 2012 before becoming an anchor in 2014. Holmes joined as an anchor for ABC News in 2014. The two anchors work together when the morning news show airs from 7 a.m. until 9 a.m. They also host the lunchtime program, GMA3: What You Need To Know, along with Dr. Jennifer Ashton as chief medical correspondent which airs on ABC from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Amy Robach was married to Tim McIntosh from 1996 until filing for an uncontested divorce in 2008. They have two daughters, Ava, born in 2002, and Analise, born in 2006.
Robach married Melrose Place star Andrew Shue on her 37th birthday, February 6, 2010. They have three stepsons from that marriage: Nathaniel, born in 1997, Aidan, born in 1999, and Wyatt, born in 2004.
T.J. Holmes was divorced from Amy Ferson in 2007. They have a daughter Brianna and a son Jaiden together. Holmes married Atlanta-area attorney, Marilee Fiebig on March 1, 2010. Their daughter, Sabine, was born in January 2013.
What will happen now that the affair of the co-workers has been exposed? Will they both lose their jobs? It will be interesting to find out what happens next.
