(Denver, Colo.) Live music returns to Denver Union Station next week with the Great Hall Sessions concert series.
From 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays in the station’s Great Hall, the free music series will feature top Colorado musicians, including:
- May 25: LAPOMPE, a blend of gypsy jazz and classic American jazz tunes
- June 1: Modern Fusion, a four-piece band featuring guitar, violin and cello
- June 8: Chris Koza, Americana, country, storytelling and rock ’n’ roll
- June 22: Black Iris Collective, a female vocal trio covering 1920s band, glam pop and unplugged acoustic
- June 29: And Turkey Band, a nine-piece band combining soul-pop, funk and jazz
- July 13: Funk Fusion, a woman-led horn trio
- July 20: Wellington Bullings, classic soul and R&B
- July 27: David Lawrence & The Spoonful, finger-picking Delta blues and roots Americana blended with soulful vocals and gypsy-infused jazz guitar
The Terminal Bar will offer happy hour pricing throughout each performance, including select draft beers for $5.50, house wines for $7.50 and classic cocktails for $9.
Beginning May 27, Denver Union Station will extend hospitality service throughout the Great Hall. Visitors will be able to order from Pigtrain Coffee Co., ACME Delicatessen and Terminal Bar from anywhere in the station.
