(Bonedale, Colo.) A Colorado bike lube manufacturer has launched a line of bike wash and degreaser that contains marijuana.

MountainFLOW, which specializes in plant-based bike lubes and washes, partnered with Colorado Springs bike shop and CBD purveyor Twisted Spoke to develop the product.

The new bike wash contains CBG, a CBD derivative that exhibits natural anti-microbial properties. Twisted Spoke already used CBG in its pH Balanced Chamois Cream, so the marijuana-infused bike wash seemed like the next logical step.

When consumers hear “Colorado” and “plant-based,” they assume weed is involved and now they’re right.

When asked why he decided to add marijuana to mountainFLOW’s plant-based bike wash, Founder and CEO Peter Arlein said, “Dude …” and continued to dip his Pringles in peanut butter.

Arlein warns that the product should not be used by riders who are concerned about the weight of their bike because after use, some bikes have been known to consume an entire bag of Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch.

Coming off the success of its Beer-Flavored Mustache Wax, launched last April 1, mountainFLOW is building on its legacy of innovative outdoor products. Its full line of waxes and polishes is available at www.mountainflow.com.
