I visited the Autry Museum of the American West, and I am impressed with the presentation and design. It presents contemporary and historical exhibitions. I have to say the museum is interesting enough of a place to make it worthy of consideration. There is an undeniable fact that it had a very particular extensive collection of cowboy memorabilia and genre film props. I found an odd thing in the museum that glamorized 20th-century film, television, and literature. To me, that seems like a critical mistake, as it makes the divide. I also got the sense that the Autry Museum was in a state of flux. While I do not have a history with the Autry Museum, I was curious to see how different it looked decades ago.
