Contactless hotels the wave of the future? Check out Macon's Woodward hotel

When it comes to hotels what do you prefer? A traditional hotel with check-in by a staff member, a lobby to hang out, and a restaurant on site OR a hotel that is contactless, similar to AirBnB style, with no staff interaction or common areas? We just stayed at a fun new hotel just like the latter in Macon, GA called The Woodward, which is locally owned (not part of a big chain). Besides being completely contactless, there are only 9 rooms. The only common area is the bar open in the evenings and you check in via keypad with the code emailed to you just before your arrival. Would you stay at a hotel like this?
