Have you experienced the exceptional dining at Firebirds yet? If you live in Atlanta there are two Firebirds locations - Alpharetta and Peachtree Corners. One of the things they are known for are their phenomenal steaks, especially their Prime Rib. Their seafood entrees and desserts are tasty and indulgent as well.
One of the highlights at Firebirds are their Limited Time offers. These items appear on the menu for about a month. When I was speaking with my server he shared that the staff often plays around with items on the menu and comes up with their own favorites. If the item becomes popular with much of the staff, it can then become a Limited Time offer. It the LTO sells well during it's time on the menu Firebirds may even make the decision to put it on the regular menu. He said that was the case with one of their shrimp appetizers.
So what's on the Firebirds Limited menu right now?
- Burrata salad (drizzled on top with balsamic and basil oil)
- NY Strip (topped with Merlot-shallot butter, served with our 5-cheese killer mac and cheese)
- Parmesan Crusted Snapper (grilled corn, fresh asparagus and topped with coal-roasted tomato-basil sauce)
- Lobster Fondue Salmon (topped with lobster and spinach fondue, served with Parmesan mashed potatoes)
We tried everything on the menu (yes we had to bring some leftovers home as portions are huge), and it was delightful. The Burrata (a tasty ball of Mozzarella) was perfectly matched with the balsamic and basil. And the tomatoes served with it were so fresh.
You can never go wrong with steak, and the 16 oz portion was generous. There's a smaller portion at lunch as well. Both the Snapper and the Salmon had us drooling. It would hard to pick a favorite, but that lobster and spinach fondue over the salmon really added to the tastiness.
Luckily you can experience all of these through January 4th at Firebirds. And the good news is that you can have these same entrees at lunch or dinner. Make sure to save room for the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding!
The expansive restaurant has quite the following and stays quite busy nearly every night of the week. So if you plan to go, even on weekday, make sure to make a reservation.
