Southern Steer Butcher, known for being the right location to get the highest quality meat and gourmet groceries has announced entrance into the Lone Star State. The brand is excited to bring the highest quality meat and other food items to Austin.
Southern Steer Butcher provides fresh, quality meats. Whether you want roasts, ribs, thighs, or tenders, their artisanal meats are a cut above the rest. The animals are domestically raised and thrive in wide, open pastures. That way, you’re getting fresh, high-quality cuts you feel good about.
Southern Steer Butcher was founded in 2013 by Greg Snyder who set out to fill a void in the market. The story all started after Greg made a visit to a similar-style shop while traveling and recognized what was lacking in his hometown of Clearwater, Florida.
From then on, Greg set his sights on filling this need in his community and began work on launching Southern Steer. He founded Southern Steer Butcher, a trusted place where customers can always feel confident in their selections each time they visit.
“We are thrilled to be bringing Southern Steer to Texas for the first time. We take our role here at Southern Steer very seriously. Each of our locations is staffed with educated employees who are trained to advise customers about proper cuts, marinades, and cooking techniques. We can’t wait to integrate into the Austin community and provide its members with the highest quality, sustainably sourced meats and grocery items that they can be proud to feed their family and friends,” said Synder
Southern Steer Butcher is dedicated to offering fresh, prime cuts from sustainable and domestic sources. Animals are raised in a responsible, ethical manner and treated with the utmost care. With an emphasis on humane animal welfare practices, they offer artisanal meats from sources customers can feel good about.
Each Southern Steer location offers a wide selection of premium meats, sides, desserts, craft beers, and wine. In addition to the variety of products, the brand also offers pre-assembled meal packs. Every meal pack contains 5 meals with all of the required ingredients for each dish, all that’s left is to cook, serve, and enjoy.
The brand also offers classes for folks who are interested in learning a bit more about the meal prep process. The classes are designed for each participant to fully prep and pack 10 meals, each serving a family of 4-5. The classes have continued to be a hit among customers, with many returning to the classes to gain more meal preparation process knowledge.
