Wienerschnitzel, the world’s largest hot dog franchise, recently announced the opening of its newest Arkansas location in the Springdale community on September 16. This opening marks the brand’s second of a total of 20 restaurants planned to open across the state over the next several years.
Located at 4726 Mercy Lane, the new Wienerschnitzel is conveniently located just off Elm Springs Road, west of I-49. Tejas Dogs, the operational group based out of Texas, is carrying out the development agenda with several additional sites already approved in Arkansas.
The company is one of the iconic pioneers of the quick-service food industry serving more than 120 million hot dogs annually. Based in Irvine, CA, Galardi Group Inc. franchises 340 Wienerschnitzel restaurants in 10 states.
As the nation’s leading hot dog concept, Wienerschnitzel has forged an impressive path of new growth in recent months. The successful opening in Arkansas generated impressive sales during its opening week, a testament to the brand’s growing popularity nationwide.
The multi-unit development in Arkansas comes on the heels of the brand launching unique ghost kitchen test locations in California, Texas, and Georgia, to further innovate and better understand key market segments across the country.
Wienerschnitzel was founded by John Galardi in 1961 with a single hot dog stand in Wilmington, California. Wienerschnitzel dogs are made with USDA-approved cuts of quality meat and seasoned with a zesty blend of spices to ensure every bite is delicious and juicy.
