Engine no 9 is a go-to place in St. Petersburg for an excellent burger and scrumptious fries. Engine No. 9 offers a sophisticated flare on gourmet prime beef burgers. All their incredibly tasty burgers are soft, juicy, and perfectly cooked. Their menu had great options, and flexibility to switch between hamburgers and grilled chicken.
Their burgers are made with 8oz Prime Black Angus beef and a choice of sides. They don't automatically come dressed. Yours will be dressed if you want items like lettuce, onion, tomato, etc. Some of their delicious meals are the Black Flag which is made with Cajun spices, Blackened, and topped with Pepper Jack Cheese, Jalapeño Bacon, Fire Roasted Red Peppers, and Frank's Red Hot Sauce. Another is the XXX BURGER, which is crafted with Cheddar Cheese, Barbecue Sauce, and Jalapeño Bacon, and served on a Pretzel Roll.

The flavor melange of the Black Flag, Cajun spice, pepper jack cheese, bacon, red peppers, and hot sauce is a masterful combination that worked perfectly together to give the meals a unique taste.
The demi-god is another of their mouth-watering dish worth savoring. It’s made with Cheddar, Swiss, Sautéed Mushrooms, Caramelized Onions, and Horseradish Mayo. Everything is deliciously made and well presented.
This place doesn’t look ‘touristy’ and the food is simply amazing. They offer the Best burgers in a fun environment. The menu is vast with lots of cool burger options. Their wedge salad with blackened shrimp and blue cheese dressing and the calamari fries with cucumber salad and the sashimi tuna are great meal options.
Engine n°9 is a prime burger sports bar in the heart of St. Petersburg's Edge District. It’s a nice place with some tables at the back where great food and impressive service give guests an enjoyable dining moment. Their burgers are soft, big, and tasty. They come perfectly cooked as requested.
Engine no 9 has been a culinary destination since its establishment in September 2012. It is considered one of the best burgers in the sunshine state having won the best burger from 2013-19. Perfectly located on the corner of 1st Ave N and 9th St., Engine is a small sports bar with a strong hockey vibe.
You arrived at the right place if you found this spot while looking for a good burger in town. It could be a bit cramped, especially in the peak time, But it's all worth it when you take a bite out of those fantastic burgers. If you’re a resident of St. Pete, you’d be doing the right thing if you make it a point to work your way through the menu on regular visits. Expectedly, the stacked burgers at times appear a bit sloppy, but to me, that’s a sign of a great burger.
