Popular Food Truck Vendor, Chicky Sandos, Moving into Permanent Restaurant Location on Burbank Drive

Specializing in Nashville-style hot chicken, Chicky Sandos is coming to a permanent brick-and-mortar location at 9402 Burbank Drive in Baton Rouge. Currently the home of Empire Wingz, the 1,200-square-foot building will be spruced up and branded accordingly before opening to the public. Primarily a drive-through operation, Chicky Sandos will also offer walk-up service and limited patio seating.

On the menu of Chicky Sandos is the Sando, a fried chicken breast sandwich available in a choice of spice. It is served on a buttered brioche bun with slaw, pickles, and Sando sauce and accompanied by a side of seasoned waffle fries. The Hot Box contains two jumbo chicken tenders with seasoned fries, slaw, and Sando sauce on the side. Chicky Fries are seasoned fries with chicken bits, Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, Sando sauce, and green onions.
