Now that Labor Day has passed, Louisiana is looking toward to fall and more festivals.
TAWASI Antiques and Art Show - Thibodaux - September 8, 9 & 10

The Warren J. Harang, Jr. Municipal Auditorium in Thibodaux is the setting for the 45th annual Tawasi Antiques and Art Show. Dealers from across the U.S. will showcase antique furniture, jewelry, glassware, porcelain, silver, linens, maps, and more during this 3-day event.
Admission tickets are $10 and are good for all three days. Hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Friday and Saturday, and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sunday. Free parking and a cafe will be available for guests.
Red River Quilt Show -Shreveport - September 8 & 9

Celebrating 40 years of fun and service, the annual Red River Quilt Show will display 200+ quilts on Friday and Saturday at the Louisiana State Fairgrounds Agricultural Building in Shreveport.
Showtimes are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Friday and 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday. Admission is:
- $10 Ages 11 to adult
- $5 Ages 5 to 10
- Free Under 5
First, second, and third place ribbons will be awarded in each category, with special choice ribbons given for judges' favorites. There will also be a silent auction, a guild booth for purchasing quilted and other handmade items, and a special quilt exhibit.
