Annual Sportsman's Heritage Festival - Krotz Springs - June 1, 2 & 3

562 Front Street

The Sportsman's Heritage Festival promotes the wetlands and the woodlands surrounding Krotz Springs and the Atchafalaya River. Three days of food, music, and fun will include carnival rides, pageants, a wild game cookoff, a Corn Hole tournament, a 5K run, and music by NIK-L-BEER, Foret Tradition, Alligator Blue, Chubby Carrier, and KROSSFYRE.

Thursday night is family night when ride bracelets cost $25 to ride all night. Admission to the festival is free all weekend.

A Taste of Covington Food, Wine, Music, and Art Festival - Covington - June 1 through June 30

Venues throughout Downtown Covington

Revolving around Covington's restaurants and art-loving culture, A Taste of Covington Food, Wine, Music, and Art Festival is a month-long event held in Historic Downtown Covington each June. Featured are vintner's dinners at restaurants around town, wine tastings, and Sunday brunches.

Cajun Heritage Festival - Larose - June 2, 3 & 4

Celebrating the Cajun heritage of LaFourche Parish, the Cajun Heritage Festival showcases a decoy show, live auction, carving demonstrations, duck calling contests, Cajun food, vendors, and raffles.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Bogalusa Balloon Festival - Franklinton - June 2, 3 & 4

100 Main Street

This family-friendly event is a hot air balloon festival featuring carnival rides, vendors, live entertainment, and of course, hot air balloons. Parking is free and seniors and students get admission discounts.

Walker Percy Weekend - St. Francisville - June 2 & 3

The 8th annual Walker Percy Weekend festival features respected writers and commentators from across the country. Dedicated to Southern literature, culture, and thought, the festival includes fine food, live music, walking tours, craft beer, and bourbon.

Gheens Bon Mange' Festival - Gheens - June 2, 3 & 4

Bon Mange' means good eats. Enjoy music and home cooked food prepared onsite using local recipes. Free admission and free parking.

73rd Annual Louisiana Peach Festival - Ruston - June 3

12+ hours of live music, a juried arts market, kids' activities, food vendors, and peachy fun highlight the annual Louisiana Peach Festival. Festival activities are free for everyone from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM; $10 for adults and $5 for kids 5 through 12 years old from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM; and free all day for kids four and under.

There will be a Peach Hunt, Peach Restaurant Round-up, Peach Art Exhibit, Peachy Sidewalk Sale, Peach Baby Photo Contest, Peach Rodeo, Run for the Peaches 5K run, Peach Diaper Derby, Classic Car Show, Farmers Market, Peach Beard Contest, and Queen Dixie Gem Peach and Princess Peach Pageant.
