There are several fun festivals happening throughout Louisiana this weekend. Celebrate Blackberries, Classic & Muscle Cars, and Italian Heritage.
Louisiana Blackberry Festival - Houma - May 20

Under the twin spans near the MacDonnell Children's Home is the location for the Louisiana Blackberry Festival. The family-friendly event showcases the Houma Heights Cultural District with food, fun, and blackberries.
From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, May 20, festival-goers will get to experience blackberry-themed food and drinks, music, craft booths, kid's activities, and contests. Free and open to the public, the festival offers blackberry tastings, baked goods, hand-made jewelry, books, candles, and crafts. Food, drink, and activity tickets are available for purchase.
Cruisin Cajun Country - New Iberia - May 18, 19 & 20

During the 14th annual Cruisin Cajun Country event, Classic, Muscle, Antique, and modern Sports vehicles will cruise to Vermillion Parish to visit:
- A new shrimp peeling plant
- The Cajun Heritage Museum
- Military Museum

St. Martin Parish to visit:

Festa Italiana - Donaldsonville - May 19 & 20

Featuring Italian food, history, music, and fun for all ages, Festa Italiana takes place from 6 PM to 9 PM, Friday, May 19, and from 10 AM to 10 PM, Saturday, May 20.
There will be a spaghetti sauce cook-off, an Italian quiz bowl, a children's village, costume contests, storytelling, history, a car show, and vendors. Music will be provided by Justin Cornett Band and Michela Mussolino.
