SUBURBAN SUV BLOWS UP IN MANS FRONT YARD 30 MINUTES AFTER DRIVING OFF CAR LOT
A Shreveport-Bossier resident is allegedly now having problems with a local car lot in Shreveport over getting a refund after purchasing this 2004 Chevrolet Suburban LT Sport for $4,500 this past Monday.
Mr. Hakeem says he purchased the car and about 30 minutes after leaving the "Accounting & Autos" car lot which is located at 4120 Metro Drive Suite 500 in Shreveport, the Suburban blew up in front of his home. He says, “I didn’t even get to sign the title yet. The vehicle is still hers.”
Mr. Hakeem showed us video of the Suburban burning in front of his home and you can hear him speaking with the Fire Department requesting help. He said he pulled off the "Accounting & Autos" car lot around 1:30pm and by 2:00pm it was on fire and by 2:15pm the Suburban was fully burnt, as seen in the photos.
Mr. Hakeem says he plans to sue the car lot if it doesn’t change its mind on refunding him his money.
Shortly after reporting this story, more unsatisfied customers started to come forward with their past experiences with this same car lot;
"I actually bought a truck from her about 3 months ago and the drive shaft broke a week later along with numerous other big problems. Ended up just taking the loss because there are basically no laws against what she's doing. My fault for not being a mechanic" said Mr. Humphrey
"This same lady messed over my little sister with a 2003 Hummer that only last her 2/3 days and told her she couldn’t get a refund the vehicle was as is so my little sister lost $7,200 for truck that been sitting in my yard since! She seem not to care either." said Mrs. Walker
