Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs - Go for the Zombies, Penny Arcade and All the Tiny People!
We always land in the most unique places when we take weekend trips in Colorado! We recently trekked up the Manitou Incline outside of Manitou Springs and decided at that time to check out a quirky town nearby called Old Colorado City. This little town is a great place to stop and explore the storefronts and of course devour some delicious ice cream! On this trip we somehow found ourselves in a Zombie Outpost, then stopped by a truly one-of-a-kind museum filled with the creations of Michael Garman. This was actually one of the coolest exhibits we’ve seen. We wrapped up the trip by heading back to Manitou Springs for a walk through the town's rockin' penny arcade.
