The Detroit Lions cut several players today prior to the NFL’s training camp deadline to trim back rosters to 85 players prior to week 2 of the 2021 preseason. The casualties of the Lions front office decisions today were: guard Evan Boehm, who was placed on injured reserve and TE, Charlie Taumoepeau, who was cut from the active roster.
