Hauling and Unhooking our Camper for the first time

Going from zero to buying a camper makes for an interesting situation pulling a travel trailer for the first time. Right out of the gates - quite literally....right out of the parking lot gates - we hit crazy weather, and started our 2-hour drive back home during rush hour. When we got home, it was 9:00pm - we were tired, hungry, had driven 5 hours that day and spent another 2 in trailer orientation. We were super ready to be done and settle in for a burger and fries. But after what happened next, we lost our appetite and were wired wide awake with adrenaline. If all things happen for a reason, our first unhitching experience happened so we could seek out our friend and her dad to help us actually learn how to drive, operate, hitch, and unhitch a travel trailer properly.
