I'm from out of town and loved my experience at the Ogden Theatre. My wife and I went to see the Strumbellas.
First off, the security process to get in is super quick and simple. Line quickly moved and there were no problems there. Every employee we interacted with was kind and knew what they were doing.
The layout of the theatre was great! They have "stadium-standing". So you've got the pit right by the stage, then about 10 feet back there is a ledge up to another "landing" with a rail. Then another 10 feet back there is another ledge up to a "landing" with a rail. There are about four or five "landings". It's awesome because then everyone gets a good view of the show instead of only the tall people. Others have mentioned getting there early enough to get a stool on the balcony, but I thought it was great to be right on a ledge with the railing so I could lean onto that throughout the show. Also, you don't have to be the first in line to get one of those spots!
There are fans on the ceiling and then fans along the balcony blowing into the lower level. Our concert was pretty full, but not packed so while it was definitely warmer, it wasn't overly hot. I didn't feel uncomfortable.
