Awesome park with lake. Wonderful place for family, kids and dogs.
This is an awesome park! We ordered takeout from True Food Kitchen and met up for dinner. There are some picnic tables near the fire station (1500 Virginia Ave). That area is shaded and even on a warm summer night, it was comfortable. I did notice a signposted with information for reserving the picnic area for events.Read full story
Fantastic garden. Beyond your expectation
This past Saturday was fantastic weather for a visit to the gardens. Such a breathtaking experience. For just $15 for a non-member theres not enough time in the day to see all this place has to offer. I just fell in love. As always it's beautiful, they are doing a fantastic job with socially distancing, as well as providing sanitizers, The staff was very very helpful in directing you where you need to go so you could purchase your ticket, and get to enjoy in the garden... We will be back again and again. Not only is the experience this amazing, they also offer food and drinks throughout the park and cater to food allergies and dietary restrictions like vegan/vegetarian. There are cute little spots for you to sit and just enjoy the serenity and tranquility of the place and hear the birds above. I left with a sense of peace just washing over me.Read full story
Opera singer and dancers make the evening way more romantic...
One of my favorite botanic gardens ever! Perfect for a COVID safe date, picnic, self-care day, you name it. Also, you can get some cute IG pics hehe. Give yourself a couple of hours here if you want to spend good quality time looking at everything and learning about all the different plant species and habitats. I recommend bringing a snack, some water, and maybe even have lunch!Read full story
one of the largest theaters in the Denver Center for Performing Arts
Most any traveling broadway show coming from NY comes to the Buell. The staff and ushers are exceptionally friendly and are there to help however they can. The ticket prices are usually pretty affordable and it's always clean. It's a nice theatre with ground level, balcony, and box seating.Read full story
Pretty amazing experience in Ogden Theatre!
I'm from out of town and loved my experience at the Ogden Theatre. My wife and I went to see the Strumbellas. First off, the security process to get in is super quick and simple. Line quickly moved and there were no problems there. Every employee we interacted with was kind and knew what they were doing.Read full story
Great little theater you SHOULD come
This is a nice theater. The whole vibe is different than anything else in Denver, you just have to see it for yourself. Last year I went to the Mayan Theater for the first time. The ticket booth outside was charming and walking in takes you away to the 1900's. The Mayan has 3 theaters and shows independent film and foreign language films. The decor was nice and a step back in time, I believe it was restored at some point.Read full story
