NASHVILLE, TN – Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, with Bob Rolfe, Commissioner of Department of Economic and Community Development, along with Vi-Jon officials, officially announced that Vi-Jon invests $45 million to broaden their operations to Smyrna.
“As the largest employment sector in Rutherford County, manufacturing remains crucial to the success of this community. Vi-Jon is a well-established and respected manufacturer in Rutherford County, and the new investment and job creation will be a great boost to the local economy,” stated Governor Bill Lee.
The company will extend its operations at 1 Swan Dr. in Smyrna. Currently, they bring a positive impact on the public by employing over six hundred workforces. The expansion of their operations will create opportunities for job seekers, as they will establish sixty-four new job fields in Rutherford County.
Vi-Jon is one of the leading private label manufacturers in the nation. Their expertise and experiences are exceptional, as they have operated their business since one hundred and forty years ago.
Their research and developments are focused on the health and beauty sector. Vi-Jon products include mouthwash, soap, hand sanitizer, first aid, baby care, and hair care. They could manufacture over three million bottles of product every day between their Tennessee and Missouri operations.
