NASHVILLE, TN—Nashville Predators has announced their offseason schedule where they're going to play six games for preseason. The announcement was made by the Predators President of Hockey Operation/General Manager David Poile.
The Predators will begin their preseason with doubleheader games on Sunday, Sept. 26, on the road against the Florida Panthers at BB&T Center. Then they will split two games away and home against the back-to-back NHL Stanley Cup Champions, the Tampa Bay Lightning, with the first game being played at Amalie Arena on Sept. 30, and they will come back home at Bridgestone Arena on Oct. 2. The Predators will close the preseason series with two-game against the Carolina Hurricanes, with the first game at PNC Arena on Oct. 5, and the final game of the preseason will be played at home on Oct. 9. Then, the first face-off of the 2021-2022 NHL season will happen the following week.
This will be the first time the Predators will have preseason games again after they couldn't had any in 2020-2021 NHL season. This also marks the ninth time in the last 10 offseason that the Predators will meet the Panthers in a doubleheader fashion.
To round up the complete offseason schedule, the Predators' rookie camp will open on Sept. 16 in Nashville. Then there will be a rookie tournament on Sept. 17-20 in Estero, Fla., before the Predators main training camp is opened.
For the two preseason home games against the Bolts and the Hurricanes, tickets will be available on July 23 at 12 p.m. CT on Ticketmaster.com.
