The community partner engagement and the volunteer project leader will work with a thirty-member cohort of community-focused individuals. The AmeriCorps cohort welcomes entry-level or experienced professionals who want to develop their skills and career in nonprofit management.

The HON AmeriCorps program is a program of Corporation for National and Community Service. The program aims to build non-profit capacity through a partnership between HON and participating AmeriCorps host sites.

The 2020-2021 HON AmeriCorps cohort accepted twenty three enthusiastic members. The 2020-2021 cohort worked at twelve Nashville non-profits last year, including HON.

HON is accepting candidates on a rolling basis through August 1, 2021. Currently, three other host organizations, which are Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee, Community Resource Center and Nashville Diaper Connection, are also looking for new members.
