Bluegrass music veterans Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent delivered a combined twenty years of experience between the seasoned tenures with bluegrass and country legends Doyle Lawson and Ricky Skaggs to live.
Their journey started in 2003, where the longtime friends and colleagues asked them to perform on a Koch Records recording titled Christmas Grass Vol.2, 2004. Dailey & Vincent recorded a well-known Christmas song, “Beautiful Star of Bethlehem,” with just a guitar, a mandolin and their two voices. Their stirring version of the song struck to No. 1 on the Prime Cuts of Bluegrass success and later led the duo to wider stages and audiences.
Dailey is a skilled musician, vocalist and songwriter. He has had numerous appearances on Gaither Homecoming DVDs, Ricky Skaggs’ Grammy-winning Brand New Strings album, as well as dozens of guest performances and collaborations.
(Darrin) Vincent started his musical career at age six with his family band, The Sally Mountain Show, along with sister Rhonda Vincent. Darrin Vincent has won five Grammy Awards and eight IBMA Awards for Instrumental Group of the Year, as well as performed and recorded with dozens of artists, including Dolly Parton, Norah Jones, Emmylou Harris, Earl Scruggs, Bruce Hornsby and more.
