NASHVILLE, TN — It’s already halfway through June. Summer is inching its way through the country and Nashville is ready with an arsenal of events for its residents to keep the fun happening. Here is a list of the town’s upcoming events.

Black Out Poetry

Friday, June 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Create poetry out of words that are already on a page! This is a free event and the materials will be provided. Visit the library or call 252-459-2106 to register. This event is open for residents ages 16 and above.

Picnic Storytime

Monday, June 21, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Picnic Storytime is one out of the four storytimes in June held in Nashville. This event is open for children and parents.

Internet Computer Class

This educative this event will talk about how to maintain men’s health by staying mobile and eating healthy.

Journaling For Kids

Friday, June 25, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

This event is open for children ages 8 – 12 who want to improve their creativity and sense of organization by learning how to journal.

Flag/4th/Fireworks Storytime

Monday, June 28, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Location: Stoney Creek Environmental Park 455 W Washington Street. Nashville, North Carolina 27856

Flag/4th/Fireworks Storytime is one out of the four storytimes held in Nashville this month. This event is open for children and parents. As the last part of the storytimes, it will be held in a different place than the preceding three.

Resume Building

Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.

Residents will learn how to build quality resume to get their dream job in this event. It is held by the library and is open to all. Register by calling 252-459-2106.
