Zara Set to Expand in the US with a New Store in Los Angeles and Brea

Zara, a popular fashion retailer from Spain, wants to get bigger in the US, especially in California.

They plan to open 10 new stores in the US over the next two years, which includes new stores, store relocations, and renovations to existing locations, according to reports.

California is one of their main focuses, and they will open new stores and renovate existing ones, including Los Angeles and Brea.

As of March 03, 2023, there are 98 Zara retail stores across the United States, and California holds the highest number of locations with 25 stores, making up approximately 26% of all Zara retail stores in the country (source).

Foot traffic in Zara stores is increasing around the world, and the company's sales increased by 23% in 2022, even though they closed 10% of their stores. Inditex plans to invest a lot of money, about $1.7 billion, to expand their stores and warehouses worldwide.

They also want to make their stores more beautiful and sustainable to attract customers.

Zara's new stores will have better technology and be more sustainable than their current stores. This will make them a better place to shop and also help the environment. Zara wants to be successful in California and across the US, so they are making big plans to grow their business.

They have already released a list of store openings and renovations that they plan to do by 2025, which includes locations in California.

New Zara Stores in California include:

  • The Grove Los Angeles
  • Brea Mall
