The Traffic Circle location will be the first Sprouts in Long Beach. Lakewood, Seal Beach and Cerritos all have Sprouts stores.

The Arizona-based Sprouts (officially called Sprouts Farmer Market) has almost 400 stores across 23 states.

The Sprouts will be the newest tenant in a slow make-over of one of the smaller Traffic Circle shopping centers. Recently The Habit Burger Grill replaced the long time Burger King at the corner of PCH and Ximeno.

The major shopping centers around the Traffic Circle are managed by Regency Centers. Private Sneakers recently moved from the Marina Circle Center to the Vons Circle Center at the Traffic Circle. According to the Recency Center website, The Dirt Dogs restaurant at the Vons Circle Center will also soon be closing.

In the Circle Center West anchored by Marshalls four new stores will be coming soon.

CAVA and Nothing Bundt Cakes will join the previously announced Dave’s Hot Chicken at the former now remodeled Polly’s Pies location in the busy Traffic Circle retail center.

Sunright Tea Studio will be moving into the former Frostbites in the same center.

Sunright Tea Studio first opened in Diamond Bar, California in 2019. Since then, the popular everything-tea-store has expanded to 24 California locations and one location each in Seattle and Texas. Currently the two closest Sunright Tea locations to Long Beach are in Artesia and Gardena.

CAVA, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Sunright Tea are all new to Long Beach.

If the stalled merger of Kroger (Ralphs) and Albertson’s (Vons) goes through consolidation of stores is likely. Both Ralphs and Vons have stores in the Circle Center centers. The nearby Von’s Pavilion’s on the Spring Street shopping corridor was recently turned into a regular Vons.
