Sunshine Mobile Home Park showers homeowners with free flowersSunshine Mobile Home Park

The space coast is home to Sunshine Mobile Home Park, a cozy affordable housing property located in Cocoa, where homeowners can enjoy the Florida sun and good neighbors. Recently, the community's manager wanted to give something back to the residents, so she hosted a park-wide initiative to plant flowers throughout the community.

She was able to get the property management company to generously provide flowers and lots of them! In fact, she purchased over $1,000 worth of flowers and flowering bushes to hand out to residents, absolutely free of charge. She wanted to give Sunshine Mobile Home Park residents an opportunity to beautify their individual homes, while also making the entire community shine.

“Bringing the community together with this event was a rewarding moment for everyone because it allowed new residents the opportunity to meet their neighbors while working together to beautify their community,” said Ryan Narus, Representative of Sunshine Mobile Home Park. “Since the new management came in 2020, the community has seen many improvements across the property and that has given residents pride in their homes and the neighborhood.”

The community's manager purchased over one hundred flowers so every household had at least four plants to beautify their property. They also planted additional flowers at the front, and around the community.

Sunshine Mobile Home Park, located in Cocoa, Florida, is a locally owned, affordable housing community. Developed in 1956, Sunshine Mobile Home Park has undergone major renovations over the years to reinvest in the community and promote a positive community.  The community boasts twenty-five residencies on over two acres of land just off the coast of Florida.
