The first location may seem a little out of the way for some of us, however, Denmark is one of the top tourist destinations in the world. With that in mind, there is a unique and interesting, one of a kind Dining Establishment that is a must visit to add to your bucket list.
Located in Copenhagen, Denmark sits a quiet restaurant that has been rated Number 1 more than once throughout its time. Noma is a restaurant that will provide a meal worth remembering, a desire to return and anticipation for the next season.
Noma is proud to be the one place that will change their menus to fit the seasons of Denmark. They spend quality time creating new and unique cuisine that also brings a whole new generation of Chefs. There is never a doubt when it comes to the cuisine served at this upscale location.
The January through June season is enhanced with the Seafood menu as the highlight. Providing many types of Seafood to please the heartiest of appetites. During the Summer months Noma offers a menu focused on a wide variety of vegetables that are grown in Denmark. The Winter season warms the appetites with the Wild game and Forest offerings.
Noma does not take their cuisine lightly. They close for a short time before each season so that the Research and Development Team and their lead can develop new menu items that the land and the sea provide.
Our second choice of unique and must visit locations sits in the heart of the United States. This location is not just a restaurant, it is a piece of its home city, its home state. This eatery is what Pittsburgh stands for.
You could certainly dress up to visit this eatery, but Primanti Brothers is a place to feel at home. You can stop by on your lunch hour and receive the same treatment a Rockefeller would receive if they walked in. A friendly “Hello, how are ya?” “What are you hungry for today?”
You will then be delighted by a huge meal that actually fits in your two hands. Well, for the most part, if your smaller, you can cut the Sandwich in quarters. This is one of those places you visit when you are really hungry and leave not wanting to think about another bite, since you are so full.
A great note to mention here is that the food is exquisite, but the price is not! This eatery was originally meant to feed those hearty blue collar workers. It has not stopped doing so, however, the prices have continued to remain affordable!
Primanti Brothers has been in Pittsburgh since 1933 and they plan to remain there for at least another hundred years. Make it a point on your next trip out that way to stop in, say hello to everyone and order up a meal that will keep you satisfied all day long!
