The businessman has done several gas giveaways since March.
Mayoral candidate Willie Wilson is continuing his gas giveaways, filling up the tanks of residents all over Chicago suffering because of the rapid rise in fuel prices courtesy of inflation.
Details about the upcoming giveaway, set for Saturday (July 9), were revealed in June, as Wilson talked about his plans to donate $2 Million in gas and groceries. According to ABC 7 Chicago, this promotion, on Saturday, will be for a full tank of regular gas at select gas stations.
Unlike the first giveaway in March, Chicago Police and OEMC will be on-site for safety purposes and to ensure everything will be done orderly. The event will begin at 7 am, with one entry and exit point at each participating station. Below are answers to some questions you might have.

No, the giveaway starts at 7 am, and residents will not be allowed to arrive before then.

The grocery giveaway was on June 29. According to ABC 7 News, $80,000 in groceries were given out; each shopper got $25. It's uncertain when there will be another one.
