ATLANTA, GA—The four winners of the Launchpad2X or LP2X, an organization aimed to develop and showcase women entrepreneurs, have been announced. All of them will earn an automatic spot to pitch at the year’s Venture Atlanta conference.
After LP2X curated 25 companies for five months for their series of First Friday Pitches and selected the top candidates to participate in the showcase on June 16, the four judges chose Charlotte Molette Barge, Kate Atwood, Sarah Rodehorst, and Jennifer Sparks as the winners.
Charlotte Molette Barge is the President & CEO of ExStreamity, a company based in Duluth, Georgia that offers a “Squarespace of streaming platforms” which allows people to monetize and customize their video content in a short time and at a lower cost.
Kate Atwood is the Co-founder & CEO of LoCo+ as well as the Founder of Kate’s Club. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, LoCo+ is the first video streaming network for premium local content made by local creators.
Sarah Rodehorst is the Co-Founder & CEO of Onwards HR, a company based in Atlanta, Georgia that provides automation of data-driven risk management and mitigates human capital risk.
Jennifer Sparks is the CEO of Vacmobile, a company based in Atlanta, Georgia that offers a software solution designed to provide digital access, storage, and transmission of certified vaccination and testing records.
Four of them are now looking forward to joining the 2021 Venture Atlanta, one of the largest venture conferences. As Sarah Rodehorst said, “We look forward to sharing our product, making connections, and hopefully raising capital to grow our vision.”
“To secure a spot to pitch is an incredible honor. For LoCo+, it lands at a perfect time for our company’s stage and provides us with critical exposure and networking to connect to the right investment partners for our journey,” said Kate Atwood.
