ATLANTA, GA — Fulton County announces the comeback of Fulton Fresh Mobile Farmers Markets on July 13 for all the residents in Fulton.

UGA Extension at the University of Georgia Fulton Fresh is an intergenerational nutrition education project in Fulton County that brings together kids, agriculture, family, and consumer science programming in urban communities.

Fulton Fresh's mission is to raise awareness and consumption of in-season, local food by providing hands-on teaching on how to produce fruits and vegetables that are both tasty and enjoyable to prepare. It is part of its key role in using local fruits and vegetables to fight childhood obesity in Fulton County with direct learning to promote and encourage fruit and vegetable consumption by involving multiple generations.

Fulton Fresh has three programs, which are Fulton Fresh Mobile Farmers Market, Adult Programs, and Youth Programs.

The mobile Fulton Fresh market has opened from June 1 to July 1 and will continue from July 13 to August 12. The community is invited to attend the mobile market, which will make six visits per week around Fulton County.

Instead of the usual in-person nutrition education food demonstrations, the summer programs will include an online learning aspect. All pick-up will be done outside, without touching anything, and at the curb.

You must register before joining this program. The registration form can be accessed on this link.

There are also some steps that you need to do before entering the market session's vehicle line. You will need to complete the steps before 12.00 p.m., the day before your chosen date. Check the steps on this link.
