ATLANTA, GA — The Banff Centre for the Arts, REI and the Georgia Conservancy invite you to enjoy the 2021 Banff Mountain Film Festival from the comfort of your own place.
This short film festival is the largest and the most well-known name in adventure and environmental films. In 2021, the lineup includes action, environmental, and adventure mountain films that may hopefully inspire the viewers.
The Banff Mountain Film Festival will be streaming the 2021 World Tour selections until October 24, 2021. There are four film screening programs available for viewers: Amber, Onyx, Ruby, and Sapphire. Each program will contain a number of the year’s best short adventure films that can be viewed for 72 hours or three days after the purchase.
Featured films include:
Amber—The Legend of Tommy G, The Elder (The Winter), Tempo, Movements in Mountains, Climbing Blind (Tour Edit), Slack Sisters, Natural Mystic, Imagine, Return to El Guayas, and The Secret of Bottom Turn Island.
Onyx—Charge 2, Where I Belong, Far Far Est, Running the Roof (Tour Edit), Voice Above Water, Madman Trails of Bhutan, Free as Can Be, and One Star Reviews: National Parks.
Ruby—Mother Earth, Pretty Strong – Fernanda, The Long Today, 12,000 km, Zeppelin Skiing (Tour Edit), Fly Spiti – The Short Odyssey, Silks, and Frozen in Time.
Sapphire—Attla, My Last Day of Summer, Piano to Zanskar (Tour Edit).
You can rent each film on its website (https://filmfest.banffcentre.ca/?campaign=WT-153285) for $15, or you can also choose a bundle of two programs for $28 and a bundle of all four programs for $52.
Some of the proceeds will be used to support the Georgia Conservancy’s mission to protect and conserve Georgia’s natural resources.
